    That’s quite a title. It drew me in. Of course, they didn’t make adjustments for populations, did they?

  2. Because that is where the money is? (Sutton’s Law) No, it doesn’t seem to fit. One might think bank robberies = function (hometown (insecure) banks, income disparity, poor opportunity, prevalence of guns) but how does that explain SD vs NE, for example, or NY = MS? Makes me think that the map might be divided too finely and what it is showing is different levels of noise, but I don’t have the data.
