Bristol County prosecutors in the Odin Lloyd homicide case recently turned over to Aaron Hernandez’s defense lawyers 33 pages of text messages between Coach Bill Belichick (a/k/a Mr Grumpy) and Hernandez from February 2013 to May 2013–the four months prior to Lloyd’s murder. Barry Petchesky comments: “I don’t know how big they printed out those texts, but 33 pages seems like an awful lot for just four offseason months.” [Maybe Coach Belichick added a bunch of emoticons to his texts?] In addition, Petchesky reports that the New England Patriots will provide prosecutors the team’s medical records on Aaron Hernandez but are fighting to keep secret nine pages of scouting reports and a psychological evaluation. I wonder why they don’t want his psychological evaluation and scouting reports to come into evidence. That may make a good case for some type of defense if he is “crazy.”
