Impeach Trump?

What are you waiting for Paul Ryan? In our humble estimation, it’s finally time for the U.S. House of Representatives to consider drawing up a formal article of impeachment against 45. Why? Because the President has no constitutional authority to launch strikes against Syria. (Although the President is the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces, only the Congress has the power to declare war.) Our loyalty should be to the Constitution, not to whoever happens to be in office. (By the way, isn’t napalm a chemical weapon?)

While I totally agree with you and Trump terrifies me to my very core, there are still many many people in this country who support Trump. I am constantly amazed by people that I encounter from all socioeconomic circles who tell me they “don’t like his mouth but like his policies”. They think he is great.

    • I am a libertarian who prefers more of the Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan type of Republican, so I understand your point. That said, however, I read “the art of the deal” many years ago and remember liking it very much.

I did not read the “art if the deal” so I will reserve judgement on that to a later date. What I find mind-boggling Trump’s total lack of principles and individual integrity. Look at Trump university or the hiring of illegal immigrants and then threatening to deport them instead of paying. Also, how many times has he gone bankrupt or screwed vendors. I heard an interview from a small business owner who put windows into one of his buildings. It was the biggest order he had ever had. He was not paid for his work. Trump tied him up in so much legal nonsense it put the vendor out of business. To me going bankrupt means you are not a very good business man. Did he not follow his own book?? It frightens me when people think such an unprincipled individual is good.

To anyone reading this, please do not bring up Clinton. I am in no way endorsing her. Two wrongs do not make a right.
