Wow! Someone FINALLY talking about the cost to CIVILIANS of war. I’ve been making this type of comment for years, nay, decades. Rulers are lucky few are alive to write about civilian deaths of any conflict. Most civilians are just happy to be alive. Read about the prison ships in the Revolutionary War. Refugee camps are not perceived as the civilian cost of war.
