What brand on the cigar?
Fuente
Oh yes… I use to enjoy the Hemingways, Exquisitos tins, and on very rare occasions smaller vitolas of the Opus X (the robustos burn hotter and give you more spice notes; IMHO that is what the Opus blend is all about). The bigger Opus Xs were a let down and frequently had inferior construction (completely unlike the Fuente family’s other offerings).
Speaking of Fuente (Ashton being rolled by the Fuente), I have also always been partial to Ashtons (Esquire tins were great small smokes & the VSG wizard was a full-bodied powerhouse).
But considering how stringently my health insurance defines a “smoker”, I have since given up the habit.
yes, these were their off-label “cardinal” cigars (I bought a package of ten at the “Cigar Cathedral” — an old church building reconverted into a cigar lounge).
It looks like a really cool place!

I concur; it is such a cool concept!
