I would give up Thanksgiving in exchange for the entire month of August if I could!!!!
Okay but why?
I am a professor and classes here in Florida always begin in August. I would much rather start classes after the Labor Day holiday. (It’s too damn hot and humid in Florida during the month of August!!!)

Taxes
Cancel Culture (it’s impact on free speech)
TSA( I agree with you on that one).

Pain in the ass co-workers
Laws that limit privacy
Regulations ( they tend to make no one better off and only benefit a small interest groups)
