Congrats! Who would have known that Adam Smith’s love life would have been such a compelling topic. After all, from what I have read he was bit of an “odd duck”. The archetypal aloof professor.
that is exactly right, but his whereabouts and comings and goings between the years 1746 (when he ditched Oxford) and 1748 (when he began a series of public lectures in Edinburgh) are unclear at best! What amorous secrets could be hiding therein???
