Based on this visualization, for the past 100 years plus (since the 1800s), most immigrants are from Europe or Canada. So why all of a sudden is there a problem with immigration? Is it because within the last 50 years (or so) it has been Latin American countries? Sounds like racism to me.

I did not realize the extent of the systemic racism in this country until our current administration. Sad
More than outright racism I would say it’s a combination of unjustified fear along with “status quo-ism”.
