I second defunding the TSA.
Most travelers probably should sued a few of the agents under section 1983 for sexual assault (maybe a slight exaggeration, but at least for 4th Amendment violations).
Right on! Why do we lose our constitutional rights at airports?
It seems like 9/11 is the central point of convergency; since it seems to be some linked to the majority of the tolerated violations of our civil liberties.

It’s analogous to environmentalism, you don’t combat it by raping your economy. That’s merely cutting off your nose to spite your face.
You don’t combat Terrorism by terrorizing American citizens!

exactly right; plus, how does one win the war on “terror” as opposed to an identifiable enemy? (“terror” is too amorphous a concept to be any useful)
It’s really war of ideology more so than one one actual people. Hence, global terrorist networks.
