What is the best music album of all time?

I nominate John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme.” (P.S.: Here is the full album.)

  1. Sheree says:

    That’s a goodie

  2. He was a great jazz musician, but must confess that I absolutely love jazz fusion.

I would personally nominate Bitches Brew for this spot. While Sketches of Spain was a theatric masterpiece, Brew brought jazz into the vibrant modern era.

I know most critics revile fusion as elevator music, but I love the “weather channel” music to death.

Long live the works Spyro Gyra, Chick Correa, The Rippingtons, and the Yellow Jackets.
